Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Purchasing Executive – Manufacturing to join their team at Kaki Bukit. You will manage material requirements, raise POs, and coordinate with suppliers to support production continuity.

You will schedule materials through SAP, monitor inventory, and drive improvements in purchasing processes while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on, senior procurement role in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing procurement and coordinating with internal teams.
• Ability to create and manage PRs/POs and schedule materials.
• Knowledge of inventory targets and supplier performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Review material requirements and raise POs based on MRP.
• Create/manage PRs and POs and schedule materials in SAP.
• Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery and mitigate supply disruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels, including excess/obsolete stock, to meet production needs.
• Track outstanding POs, overdue deliveries and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and data accuracy.
• Resolve supplier quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and shortages with internal teams.
• Support supplier audits and new product development activities.
• Ensure purchasing aligns with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in implementing supply chain initiatives.

Salary: $5,000 – $6,700/month

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm

The Opportunity

Join an established manufacturing environment in a senior procurement role where you will play a key part in ensuring material availability, managing supplier performance and supporting production continuity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review production material requirements and raise purchase orders (POs) based on MRP requirements.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders and material scheduling through SAP.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve potential supply disruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels, including excess and obsolete stock, to meet production requirements and inventory targets.
• Track outstanding purchase orders, overdue deliveries and supplier performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, system efficiency and data accuracy.
• Work with internal teams to resolve supplier quality issues, invoice discrepancies and material shortages.
• Participate in supplier audits, new product development and product transfer activities.
• Ensure purchasing processes comply with relevant quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Support the Supply Assurance Manager in implementing supply chain initiatives.
