Job summary

Superior Multi-Packaging Limited is seeking a Senior Executive in the Purchasing Department in Singapore to source, evaluate and process purchase requisitions, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and manage supplier relationships. The role supports business objectives through effective procurement and contract administration.

You will work with internal teams to ensure timely orders, accurate data, and compliant purchasing processes while contributing to reporting and supplier performance

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Purchasing/Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Proficient with MS Excel and office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiar with Incoterms, warehousing and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and process purchase requisitions and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Issue purchase orders following final supplier negotiations.
• Maintain data and documentation for purchasing activities.
• Follow up on backlog and expedite urgent requirements.
• Assist with complaints, claims and audits related to purchasing.
• Prepare purchasing reports for management analysis and decision making.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to support business objectives.
• Take on ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned.

About the role

Senior Executive position in the Purchasing Department at Superior Multi-Packaging Limited, reporting to the Procurement Manager. The role involves sourcing, evaluating and processing purchase requisitions, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and managing supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and process purchase requisitions along with negotiating best pricing, product/service quality, delivery schedules and contract terms
• Issue purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers
• Responsible for data and documentation on purchasing activities
• Follow up on outstanding backlog and expediting of urgent requirements
• Assist on complaints, claims and audits related to purchasing matters
• Compile purchasing reports for management, analysis and decision making
• Coordinate with internal parties and suppliers to ensure support of business objectives
• Perform ad-hoc duty or project as assigned

About you

• Minimum Professional Certificate, Diploma or degrees in related field (Purchasing/Procurement/Sourcing or equivalent)
• At least 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in Ms Office Applications specifically Excel
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Familiar with incoterm, warehouse and inventory management
