ea recruitment pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to drawings, schedules and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and 8–10 years of relevant experience, with strong site supervision, quality and safety oversight, and contract and commercial management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project work schedules, method statements, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where required.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Supervise site operations and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee construction activities including structural, drainage, sewerage, utility, and related civil works.
• Review contracts, technical specifications, and tender documents; manage budgets and variation claims.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on contractual matters.
• Attend site, progress, and coordination meetings; ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations; maintain documentation.

Job Scope

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead and manage civil engineering and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project work schedules, method statements, and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where required.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.

Site & Construction Management

• Supervise site operations and coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Oversee construction activities including structural, drainage, sewerage, utility, and associated civil works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Review contracts, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and variation claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify work progress payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on contractual matters.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of technical and operational issues.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and project records.
• Ensure all works comply with local regulatory authorities and statutory requirements.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• 8 - 10 years of relevant working experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
