Job summary

Delta Electronics Southeast Asia & Oceania is seeking a Project Manager for Data Center and ICT projects across the region. Lead end-to-end delivery of mission-critical infrastructure from design through handover, coordinating with clients, partners, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data center projects, strong knowledge of UPS, cooling, BMS/EMS, and ICT systems, and holds PMP/PRINCE2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, ICT, or Systems Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data center project management or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with Tier-certified or hyperscale data centers preferred.
• Deep knowledge of data center systems: UPS, power distribution, cooling, fire protection, BMS/EMS, access control, structured cabling.
• Familiarity with ICT infrastructure, server room layout, network architecture, virtualization, edge/cloud integration.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data center and ICT projects (Tier II–IV), including greenfield, brownfield, modular deployments.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, WBS, and resource plans.
• Oversee EPC activities ensuring safety, quality, and compliance at all stages.
• Coordinate the integration of UPS, HVAC, BMS/EMS, ICT racks, and structured cabling.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal Delta teams.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, and mitigations to senior management and customers.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation with IT/OT stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless handover to O&M with documentation and training.

Job Title: Project Manager (ICT/Energy Storage/Data Center)

Delta is seeking a Project Manager – Data Center & ICT Projects to lead end-to-end delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects across the region. This role will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing complex data center and ICT deployments—from initial design through commissioning and handover.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data center project delivery, ICT systems integration, and MEP coordination, and will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to ensure project success.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Lead the complete project lifecycle for data center and ICT infrastructure projects (Tier II/III/IV), including greenfield, brownfield, and modular deployments.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource plans.
• Oversee EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) activities and ensure quality, safety, and compliance at all stages.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE, ISO/IEC 27001) and local regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the integration of key systems: UPS, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, fire suppression, BMS/EMS, ICT racks, structured cabling, and NOC components.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal Delta teams (sales, engineering, procurement, QA/QC).
• Provide regular reporting to senior management and customers on progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Monitor and control project budgets, CAPEX forecasts, and vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Lead system testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and integrated validation with IT/OT stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless handover to O&M teams with full documentation, training, and post-commissioning support plans.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, ICT, or Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data center project management, ICT deployment, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery. Prior experience with Tier-certified or hyperscale data centers is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of data center systems: UPS, power distribution, cooling, fire protection, BMS/EMS, access control, and structured cabling. Familiarity with ICT infrastructure, server room layout, network architecture, virtualization, and edge/cloud integration.
• Project Management Skills:
• Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent project management tools. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred.
