You will develop and implement project control processes and work with internal and external stakeholders to manage scope, schedule, and quality throughout the project cycle. Responsibilities include monitoring progress in Primavera, analyzing cost variances, reviewing contractor reports, and supporting the Director with forecasting

Responsibilities

• Oversee and responsible for project planning and scheduling
• Develop and implement project control processes to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Coordinate schedule, cost, procurement with stakeholders and monitor all project phases
• Monitor and update progress in Primavera and Progress Measurement system
• Analyze cost variances and monitor expenditures to ensure budget adherence
• Review contractor progress reports and support leadership in monitoring performance
• Maintain contractor manpower projection plans and provide weekly/monthly progress reports
• Develop procurement policies and workflows in line with regulatory, safety and quality requirements
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to address deviations from project plans
• Ensure planning standards and Work Breakdown Structure are applied across projects
• Assist in pre- and post- commissioning planning and tender support for business development
• Maintain historical data for bids and benchmarking and mentor the project control team
• Follow SOPs and participate in Health, Safety and Environment activities
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Job description

• Oversee and responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and document control.
• Develop and implement project control processes to effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the entire project cycle.
• Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders in the coordination of project schedule, cost and procurement and monitor progress for all phases of the project.
• Monitor and update project progress in Primavera and Progress Measurement system.
• Monitor project expenditures and analyze cost variances to ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Organize and review Contractor’s project progress reports, and support the Director in monitoring, analysing, and forecasting performance.
• Responsible for keeping the Contractor’s manpower projection plan updated.
• Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Establish strategies in ensuring the reliability of procurement operations that are in line with project scope and requirements.
• Develop procurement policies and workflows that ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality requirements.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and deviations from project plans, and develop risk management plans mitigation strategies to address them.
• Ensure the overall planning standard, Work Breakdown Structure and other requirements and relevant project procedures are applied.
• Assist in pre-commissioning and post-commissioning planning.
• Provide tender support to develop high-level schedules for business development prospects.
• Maintain historical data for use in bid proposals and future bench marking initiatives.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project control team members, ensuring their professional development and effective contribution to project success.
• To follow all company business operation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Participate actively in Health Safety and Environment programs and activities in order to achieve Company’s KPIs, ISO 14001 objectives and target. Proactively rectify any abnormalities, unsafe acts or unsafe situations and report to supervisor accordingly.
