Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Singapore to own and manage enterprise software implementations across the project lifecycle in retail merchandising and supply chain management. You will build senior client relationships, set strategy, manage scope, resources and budgets, and ensure KPI targets are met.

Travel to visit customers regularly and collaborate with regional teams. You will join an ambitious team, contributing to growth, and supporting sales with timelines

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT system implementations within large enterprise customers ($5m+ budget).
• Experience serving on governance or steering committees.
• Retail or supply chain industry knowledge.
• Experience managing a complex network of internal and external senior stakeholders.
• Experience presenting, consulting and convincing senior audiences on change management practices.
• PM certification (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project scope and ensure the customer's business benefits are achieved within agreed budget and timelines.
• Accountable for project profitability and reporting.
• Define and maintain the project plan with the project team.
• Coordinate with customer project managers engaged on RELEX projects.
• Guide and execute the communication plan, including steering group meetings.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Director/Executive level).
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies; escalate when needed.
• Lead project management duties including team coordination and task management.
• Keep all stakeholders informed of progress, internally and externally.
• Oversee project scope and project commercials; act as escalation point for bottlenecks.
• Attend relevant industry or RELEX events and participate in ongoing training.

About the role

RELEX is growing and is seeking a Senior Project Manager (based inSingapore) to own and manage enterprise software implementation projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, in the field of retail merchandising and supply chain management. As project lead, you will ensure thesuccessful implementation of the RELEX software by building senior customer relationships, setting the project strategy, negotiating and escalating onscope, resources and commercials, and making sure projects meet the KPI expectations of both RELEX and the customer. You will keep timelines on track by overseeing project plans, budgets and communication plans across the wider project team, including senior stakeholders. You will also occasionally support the sales team with insights on project timelines, resourcing needs and overal lproject approach.

Travel will be required to visit customers on a regular basis and occasionally to meet with RELEX teams in our other offices. The localoperations team is part of the Asia Pacific region, so there is a great opportunity to oversee client projects across Singapore and the wider region.

Keyresponsibilities and accountabilities

• Accountable for delivering project scope and ensuring the customer's business benefits are achieved within agreed budget and timelines
• Accountable for project profitability and reporting
• Accountable for the project plan with the project team
• Accountable for coordinating with customer project managers engaged on RELEX projects
• Guiding and agreeing the communication plan, including internal and external steering group meetings
• Responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships with key stakeholders (Director/Executivelevel)
• Responsible for managing project risks, issues and dependencies
• Responsible for project management duties including team coordination and task management
• Ensuring that all stakeholders are adequately informed of project progress, internally and externally
• Accountable for project scope and project commercials
• Acting as an escalation point for key decisions or bottlenecks from the project team
• Attending suitable industry or RELEX events when needed
• Attending training and developing relevant knowledge and skills

Key requirements

• Experience leading successful IT system implementations within large enterprise customers ($5m+ budget)
• Experience of senior positions on governance or steering committees
• Retail or supply chain industry knowledge
• Experience managing a complex network of internal and external senior stakeholders
• Experience presenting,consulting and convincing senior audiences on change management practices
• Effective leadership,interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders, influence and negotiate
• Strong risk analysis and risk management planning; able to look ahead, mitigate risk and steer the strategic direction of projects appropriately
• Project management/PMP or equivalent formal certification
• Experience in project management methodologies, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scaled Agile
• Comfortable using AI tools inday-to-day work, for example to plan, analyse, document and communicate more effectively
• Experience working with multicultural customers and teams across Southeast Asia is valuable
