Job summary

Bureau Veritas Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a senior Project Manager/Engineer to lead and coordinate Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Electrical, or QA/QC activities on major building and infrastructure projects.

You will review technical docs, manage risks, and drive multi-disciplinary coordination with consultants, contractors, and clients. Proficiency with BIM, EDMS, and Primavera P6 is desired, along with strong communication and PM skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline recognized by the PE Board (Singapore).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale building and infrastructure construction.
• Experience in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, M&E, or QA/QC disciplines.
• Completed at least two projects from construction through handover stages.
• Strong PM and engineering coordination capabilities.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, precast, structural steelwork, and composite design.
• Able to interpret drawings, specs, and project requirements clearly.
• Familiar with BIM, EDMS (Bentley ProjectWise preferred), and CDE/Primavera P6.
• Analytical, risk-aware, and able to propose solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.

• Prepare project reports, presentations, progress updates, and dashboards.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Support QA/QC activities to ensure project requirements are met.

• Review BIM models and digital project information for design coordination and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, progress updates, and management dashboards.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide technical recommendations where required.
• Support quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical, or QA/QC disciplines.
• Successfully completed at least two projects from construction through handover stages.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in project management and engineering coordination.
• Experience in reinforced concrete, precast construction, structural steelwork, and composite design and construction is preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, construction documents, and project requirements.
• Familiarity with BIM platforms and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), preferably Bentley ProjectWise or similar systems.
• Experience using Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and Primavera P6 for project monitoring and coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess project risks and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data-driven project reporting tools is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
