Job summary

SVANEHOJ SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Facilities Engineer/Manager to maintain and repair production shopfloor equipment and coordinate maintenance with vendors.

The role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and energy management to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. You will perform routine checks, manage calibration records, and lead cross-functional teams while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of facilities management or manufacturing experience in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Demonstrated project management and vendor management skills.
• Independent, hands-on, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Production shopfloor facility’s equipment including electrical, ACMV, compressed dry air system, vacuum system, gas system, processwater system and plumbing.
• Performing routine checks on electrical, ACMV, compressed dry air system, vacuum system, gas system, process water system and plumbing equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Coordinate facilities equipment maintenance schedules and repair activities.
• Supervise and coordinate with vendors and service providers on activities regarding daily routine facilities, maintenance work and execution of projects within the facility.
• Ensure that the facilities' systems and processes function efficiently and meet the organization's needs. Works includes a range of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and energy management.
• Troubleshoot machine, equipment / facility breakdown and carry out basic repairs.
• Attend to any facility works and M&E installations, as well as development of project plans.
• Maintain the calibration list of all measuring instruments used at the shop floor, ensuring that calibrations status and due dates are properly tracked and keep up to date to meet operational and quality requirements.
