Job summary

Dyson Singapore, within the Technology Development department's Product Performance group, is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to analyze hair appliance performance, quantify drying and styling efficiency, and drive design improvements.

You will design experiments, build predictive models, and communicate findings to stakeholders, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across diverse teams to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, measurement and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in Minitab, MATLAB, Excel, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify key performance drivers and design/ analyze experiments.
• Develop test plans and methodologies reflecting real customer experiences.
• Evaluate data and provide rigorous recommendations with design mitigations.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and document thoroughly.
• Coach junior engineers and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
