Jobtailor in Singapore is seeking an experienced Product Manager focused on payments to own the roadmap, drive merchant onboarding, pricing, and adoption across markets.

You will collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury to ship features, while leveraging AI tools for research, prototyping, and day-to-day execution. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver auditable outcomes for regulated financial products.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management shipping payments or regulated fintech
Experience shipping tech products from research to launch and go-to-market
Expertise in card acquiring/issuing economics or merchant lifecycle
Independent in SQL and dashboards
Able to turn large datasets into a clear narrative
Proficient with AI tools for day-to-day execution
Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence
Collaborative, high-integrity, direct with bad news, and high standards for quality and detail

Responsabilités

Own and deliver the payments roadmap, prioritising business impact
Track net revenue, take rate, merchant activation, payment success rates, and cost per transaction
Prototype and test product concepts, write detailed specifications, and partner with engineering to ship features
Design KYB, AML, sanctions screening, transaction limits, and PS Act obligations into the product
Work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury to deliver auditable outcomes
Align cross-functional teams on product progress and roadmap
Drive projects across engineering, design, operations, risk, sales, and finance
Own pricing, positioning, sales enablement, support readiness, merchant migration, and adoption tracking for launches
Grow payments products into new segments, markets, and use cases
Own merchant acquiring workflows including onboarding, underwriting, pricing, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, and chargebacks
Apply AI and automation to onboarding, reconciliation, support, and risk review
Lead other cross-functional and strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

Own and deliver the payments roadmap, prioritising business impact
Track net revenue, take rate, merchant activation, payment success rates, and cost per transaction
Conduct merchant interviews, usability testing, and transaction-level analysis
Prototype and test product concepts, write detailed specifications, and partner with engineering to ship features
Design KYB, AML, sanctions screening, transaction limits, and PS Act obligations into the product
Work with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury to deliver auditable outcomes
Use AI tools for research synthesis, specification writing, prototyping, and other product workflows
Align cross-functional teams on product progress and roadmap
Drive projects across engineering, design, operations, risk, sales, and finance
Own pricing, positioning, sales enablement, support readiness, merchant migration, and adoption tracking for launches
Grow payments products into new segments, markets, and use cases
Own merchant acquiring workflows including onboarding, underwriting, pricing, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, and chargebacks
Apply AI and automation to onboarding, reconciliation, support, and risk review
Lead other cross-functional and strategic initiatives

Requirements

5+ years in product management, with experience shipping payments, fintech, or other regulated financial products (or adjacent regulated-industry experience)
Track record of taking tech products from research and ideation through launch and go-to-market
Hands-on expertise in card acquiring/issuing economics, including authorisation, capture, settlement, scheme rules, interchange, and take-rate economics; or merchant lifecycle, including onboarding, underwriting, reconciliation, disputes, and chargeback resolution; or cross-border payments and multi-jurisdiction licensing across Southeast Asia
Independent in SQL and dashboards
Comfortable working through large or messy datasets and turning them into a clear narrative
Proficient with AI tools and comfortable building with them in day-to-day execution
Ability to structure ambiguous, complex problems and create direction where none exists
Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence
Collaborative, high-integrity, direct with bad news, and high standards for quality and detail
