Job summary

Sonova Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Product Development & Innovation.

Focused on execution across concept, design and NPI, you will lead procurement activities, manage cost and supplier risk, and collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain to keep projects on track. The role emphasizes cross-functional project execution, early supplier involvement and value engineering to optimise costs while upholding product quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline.
A master’s degree or procurement/project-management certification (MCIPS/PMP) would be advantageous.
Minimum five years of direct procurement experience, preferably in product development or NPI environments.

Responsibilities

Execute procurement activities across product concept, design and development to NPI milestones.
Serve as primary procurement representative for assigned development projects.
Coordinate with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
Develop should-cost models and track BOM costs against targets.
Support early supplier involvement with supplier identification and technical discussions.
Lead cost-optimisation initiatives without compromising quality or project goals.
Ensure smooth transition from NPI to serial production and operational procurement.
