United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) in Singapore seeks a seasoned procurement professional to understand internal needs and drive supplier negotiations. You will manage RFQs, costs, delivery schedules, and contractual terms to support wafer fab production timelines.

With 5–6 years in wafer fab procurement, you will analyze trends, collaborate across teams, and implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining adherence to internal guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5-6 years wafer fab working experience.
• Detailed oriented, positive attitude, self-motivated, target driven.
• Meticulous and strong in numbers.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of procurement best practices & industry trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-starter with good initiative and a team player personality.
• Dynamic individual capable to work under stress and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidelines as required.
• Conducts timely market reviews and request for price proposal (RFQ) in accordance with internal purchasing rules and guidelines.
• Negotiates quantities, prices, delivery schedule, terms and conditions of delivery and payment/contractual terms.
• Ensure timely PO execution to meet production needs.
• Drives resolution to supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time, which may includes engagement with manufacturers/sub-tiers in the supply chain.
• Identifies and realizes cost savings opportunities and execute cost reduction initiatives assigned
• Prepare all relevant weekly, monthly reports
• Other duties as assigned
