Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore site seeks Process Integration professionals to contribute to CMOS development projects, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to optimise manufacturing processes, troubleshoot integration challenges and drive continuous improvements to achieve project goals.

The role requires a BS degree in engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on process integration and yield improvement.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science or related engineering discipline is required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and improve process integration and yield issues.
• Perform project management and data analysis.
• Develop custom or derivative processes for customer needs.
• Support new designs with module characterization and rule development.
• Collaborate across functions to reduce defects and yield concerns.
• Develop test structures for fast, rigorous process characterization.
• Drive CIP to meet organizational goals.
• Build defect source library and fingerprinting tools.
• Study yield and defect characterization via partitioning.
• Ensure processes are documented; assess failures with mitigation.
• Adhere to safety and EH&S requirements.
• Collaborate on other projects as needed.

Introduction
Our Singapore site is undergoing transformation through several major projects to maintain competitiveness in the market. We are seeking Process Integration professionals to contribute to these transformation initiatives and CMOS development projects, with responsibilities including collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, optimising manufacturing processes, troubleshooting integration challenges, and driving continuous improvements to achieve project goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve, and improve process integration and yield issues and related problems
• Perform project management and data analysis
• Identify and resolve process integration issues and related problems
• Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs
• Support new designs with module characterization and design rule development
• Work with cross function teams to reduce defect activities and resolve technical & yield concerns
• Develop and improve test structures that enable fast and rigorous characterization of process
• Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals
• Build and develop defect source library and tool's defect source fingerprinting
• Perform product/process partitioning study for yield & defect characterization to drive defect improvements
• Ensure that processes are well documented, failure modes are assessed and have mitigation and detection in place
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, other relevant engineering discipline is required
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
