Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Process Integration Engineer to join its R&D team in Singapore. You will drive development of FEOL/BEOL semiconductor processes and translate scientific insights into scalable manufacturing solutions.

You will design and run DOE-based experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with process engineering and applications teams to advance technology and enable next-generation devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor or Master or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on R&D experience with semiconductor equipment, patterning, film deposition or CMP.
• Strong experimental background, including designing experiments and analyzing complex data sets.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Curiosity and motivation to translate academic research into industrial results.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, development, and optimization of FEOL/BEOL processes (Litho, RIE, ALD, CVD, PVD, CMP).
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments using DOE-based approaches with senior experts.
• Characterize materials and processes to evaluate film quality and reliability.
• Analyze experimental data and document results in technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, process engineering, and applications.
• Support troubleshooting of process or equipment issues in lab and pilot environments.
• Participate in technology reviews and contribute ideas for process improvement.
