Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
• 15+ years of offshore platform/FPSO piping experience.
• Familiar with offshore FPSO piping materials, stress, layout and support engineering.
• Lead Piping Engineer experience on FPSO/offshore projects.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce piping deliverables: design calculations, specifications, procedures and analyses.
• Review project specifications and engineering procedures for compliance.
• Perform QA/QC and engineering checks across disciplines.
• Assist Department Manager with discipline-related activities and cross-centre work sharing.
• Ensure timely and accurate production of project deliverables.

Title:

Senior Principal Piping Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Familiar with offshore Piping materials and stress engineering, platforms and FPSO layout design, material handling, piping/pipe support design, and safety requirements.
• Perform 3D model reviews as per the project requirements.
• Familiar with preparation of Piping inputs for Project Proposals and Estimation of work/CTR etc.
• Responsible to produce Piping deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports, and various third-party submissions.
• Provide skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practices.
• Understand clients’ needs, identify and address design parameters and problems, and develop and implement solutions.
• Perform inter-discipline and discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group.
• Review and manage project and general specifications, engineering procedures, and engineering policy.
• Adhere to company processes and procedures.
• Responsible for all deliverables completed in his/her section and delivered to the client.
• Ensure efficient and effective production of project deliverables.
• Assist the Department Manager in discipline-related activities and work sharing with other centers.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering with 15 years of experience.
• Relevant Offshore platform/FPSO Piping Engineering experience.
• Familiar with offshore/FPSO piping materials, stress, layout, and support engineering and design concepts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and coordinate well with the piping materials, stress, and layout teams, as well as other disciplines.
• Possess hands‑on experience as Lead Piping Engineer for small‑sized FPSO/offshore platform projects.
• Lead experience in few mid‑level Offshore projects shall be added advantage.
