Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Piping Engineer to lead offshore piping design efforts for FPSO and platform projects. The role emphasizes materials, stress analysis, layout development, and delivering comprehensive piping deliverables to clients.

Responsibilities include performing 3D reviews, ensuring QA/QC, and coordinating with other disciplines. A lead-level background in offshore piping and a degree in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in offshore platform/FPSO piping engineering is required.
• Hands-on as Lead Piping Engineer for FPSO/offshore projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with offshore piping materials, stress engineering, platforms and FPSO layout design, material handling and piping/pipe support design.
• Perform 3D model reviews as per project requirements.
• Produce piping deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports and third‑party submissions.
• Ensure QA/QC and engineering compliance across all work within the group.
• Review project specifications, engineering procedures, and policy; adhere to company processes.
