Job summary

KLOOK Travel Technology invites a Senior Data Scientist, Pricing, to own the analytics core of dynamic pricing across markets. You will build elasticity models, forecast demand, and design robust experiments that inform price changes and promotions.

This builder role reports to the Pricing Director and collaborates with Strategy, Platform, Marketing, and Product. You will develop production-grade pricing systems, monitor model performance, and ensure decisions are data-driven and transparent.

Qualifications

• A Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, computer science, or data science) is preferred.
• 5+ years in data science / quantitative analytics with ownership of pricing, revenue management, demand forecasting, or causal‑measurement problems.
• Deep knowledge of causal inference: DiD, synthetic control, IV, or uplift modelling, with understanding of assumptions.
• Rigorous experiment design (power, MDE, randomisation, guardrails).
• Proficiency in pricing or demand modelling (elasticity, forecasting) and ML methods.
• Strong Python and SQL; capable of end-to-end data work.

Responsibilities

• Build price-elasticity models and demand forecasts by product, segment, and market.
• Develop advanced measurement methods to isolate causal impact of price and promotions.
• Quantify uncertainty with confidence intervals and sensitivity checks.
• Design and run pricing experiments (A/B, geo tests) with interpretable results for pricing decisions.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders and guide data-driven decisions.
