Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project/NPI Engineer to drive precision engineering programs. You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

The role requires hands-on CNC machining, high-precision metrology, and proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA or AutoCAD. You will lead prototype development and ensure manufacturability, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or precision engineering.
• 4-5 years in program/project/NPI engineering in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on CNC machining and high-precision metrology experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, CATIA or AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for precision engineering programs.
• Collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, resolving technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
• Provide technical expertise in precision engineering processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.
• Oversee the development of prototypes and ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems.
• Ensure all projects adhere to strict quality and tolerance standards in the precision engineering industry.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding technical and programmatic updates.
• Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
