Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support precision machining for complex parts. You will interpret mechanical drawings, select standard components and generate a Process Management Plan.

You will review yields and process rates, propose improvements, and lead corrective actions. Experience with CNC machining and metal fabrication is essential; familiarity with SolidWorks and MasterCAM is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of working experience in precision engineering
• Familiar with milling, turning, lathes, grinding, and sheet metal operation
• Familiar with welding, sheet metal work and surface treatment
• Proficient in Solidwork, MasterCAM or HyperMill
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in manufacturing processes
• Self-motivated with good work attitude

Responsibilities

• Support machining processes and methods for complex precision parts
• Interpret mechanical drawings for fabrication and selection of standard parts
• Generate a Process Management Plan
• Review process yields and rates and suggest improvements
• Recommend cost reductions while maintaining quality
• Lead and coordinate corrective actions
• Participate in manufacturing reviews, transitions, NPI and standard work improvements
• Operate CNC machines
