Job summary

GK Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end mechanical, structural and system-level design for high-precision automated equipment in Singapore.

You will balance rigidity, thermal stability, and manufacturability from concept through prototype to production. Responsibilities include defining system architecture, developing gantry frames and motion stages, conducting FEA, and working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure tight tolerance control and robust product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field.
• Master’s or PhD preferred; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive relevant experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and layout of high-precision automated equipment.
• Design precision mechanical sub-systems like gantry frames and motion stages.
• Perform static, dynamic and thermal FEA; build error budgets.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, optical and process engineers for integration.
• Own tolerance stack-up analysis and ECOs to move designs to production.
