Job summary

GoerTek Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Design Engineer / Systems Architect to lead end-to-end mechanical, structural and system-level design of next-generation high-precision automated machinery in Singapore.

You will own the architectural vision, balance thermal stability, motion dynamics and manufacturability to achieve sub-micron performance, while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Experience designing high-precision automated equipment is essential.
• Strong background in system architecture and tolerancing practices.
• Proven proficiency with solid modeling and FEA tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture and conceptual design of high-precision equipment.
• Perform detailed mechanical and structural design using CAD tools.
• Conduct FEA for thermal and structural optimization; manage error budgets.
• Drive multidisciplinary alignment across electrical, software, optical, and process teams.
• Oversee DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, ECOs, and transition to production.
