Job summary

The Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking a Senior / Executive Project Engineer, Power Supply to take a lead role in managing power supply contractors on transit projects, with preference for underground MRT stations. You will ensure safety, quality and progress of contractor works while coordinating interfaces with civil, electrical and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
Good appreciation of interface requirements of civil, electrical and mechanical works.
Strong project management and leadership skills with a proven track record.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead role in managing power supply contractors on transit projects.
Ensure safety, quality and progress of contractors’ works.
Assist Senior Project Manager in planning and managing cashflows across contracts; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers and architects to coordinate power supply to transit systems.
Coordinate with the Railway Operator to review and address feedback.
