Job summary

Ministry Of Social And Family Development (MSF) invites a proactive policy professional to join the Social Support Group. The role focuses on regulatory and operational policy for ComCare schemes and SRHs, bridging policy, legislation, and day-to-day operations to safeguard residents.

You will review the Code of Practice for SRHs, engage stakeholders, draft operational policy positions, and help establish a coherent enforcement approach across SSP's regulatory remit.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ work experience in policy or programme development.
• Strong writing, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with community partners, internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in stakeholder management and consultation.
• Self-motivated team player with strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the Code of Practice (COP) for SRHs to ensure it remains relevant and feasible; engage stakeholders to review regulatory developments.
• Develop and recommend operational policy positions on regulatory matters under the Social Residential Homes Act.
• Establish principles to guide enforcement across SSP’s regulatory remit.
