Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) in Singapore is seeking a policy-focused professional to join the Resilience and Engagement Division. You will help strengthen national identity, social cohesion, and the integration of newcomers into Singaporean society.

You will design and implement sense-making mechanisms, engage a wide range of stakeholders, and develop policies to improve integration outcomes and national identity. A 2-year contract is offered with potential for extension.

Responsabilidades

• Developing an understanding of concerns on the ground and drivers of integration outcomes.
• Monitoring and analysing the state of integration between locals and newcomers in Singapore and Singaporeans' sense of national identity.
• Developing and reviewing policies and programmes to improve integration outcomes and national identity. This will involve working with other government agencies to address cross-cutting issues.
• Staffing committees that co-coordinate and drive the agenda on integration and national identity such as the National Integration Council.
• Enlisting and engaging non-government stakeholders to co-create solutions, and drive efforts to help integrate newcomers into Singapore society.
• Overseeing the legislative framework and guidelines governing the use of Singapore's National Symbols.
