Job summary

Ascendze Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer to design, develop, and commission new industrial automation machines and equipment. The role focuses on PLC programming, motion control, and sensor/robot integration, with hands‑on development from control drawings to commissioning.

Responsibilities include testing, debugging, I/O checks, and customer-site support for installation and training.

Qualifications

Hands‑on PLC programming experience
Strong motion control knowledge
Strong sensor applications knowledge
Robotics integration experience
Read and understand electrical control drawings

Responsibilities

Design and develop PLC programs for new automation machines
Perform I/O checking, machine testing, debugging and commissioning
Develop and integrate motion control systems including servo and multi-axis applications
Select, configure and integrate industrial sensors for machine control
Program and integrate industrial robots with PLC communication and safety interlocks
Develop and modify HMI programs
Read electrical schematics and control drawings
Troubleshoot PLC, motion, sensor, robot and electrical control problems
Support customer-site machine installation and commissioning
Prepare machine operation and maintenance documentation and training
