Job summary

FA SYSTEMS AUTOMATION (S) PTE LTD is seeking a skilled PLC engineer to configure, install, test, commission, and buy-off automation systems on-site in Singapore. You will work with Omron and Keyence PLCs and apply IEC 61131-3 languages.

You will design robust industrial communications, integrate PLCs with MES/ERP via REST APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from development through customer acceptance.

Qualifications

Experience with IEC 61131-3 languages in industrial automation.
On-site installation, testing, commissioning and buy-off of automation systems.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process applications.

Responsibilities

Configure, set up, and support on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and buy-off of PLC and automation systems.
Develop, maintain, and optimize PLC programs using IEC 61131-3 languages (LD, FBD, ST, IL).
Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, optimization and performance tuning to meet project requirements.
Design reliable communication between PLCs and external devices using RS232, TCP/IP, Modbus, EtherCAT, SECS/GEM.
Develop software integration solutions using REST APIs, SOAP, XML for MES/ERP communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support project execution.
