Job summary
RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lead Automation Engineer to design, implement, and sustain industrial automation and robotics solutions across a manufacturing facility.
You will drive automation projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities include developing automation architecture, programming ABB, Fanuc, UR, or KUKA robots, and leading projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
- 5+ years delivering automation/robotics projects.
- Hands-on with ABB, FANUC, UR or KUKA robots.
- Strong PLC, EtherCAT, TwinCAT 3 knowledge.
- IQ/OQ/PQ validation experience.
- Familiarity with Python, C++, or Java for automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation architecture and standards for PLCs, robotics, motion control, safety, and networks.
- Design, program, and commission industrial and collaborative robots and integrate with HMI, drives, and vision systems.
- Translate manufacturing requirements into automation strategies and specs.
- Lead automation projects from concept to commissioning and handover.
- Manage schedules, budgets, vendors, and FAT/SAT activities.
- Use offline tools for robot cell design and optimization.
