Job summary

Automation Manufacturing Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a talented PC/PLC software professional to design, develop, install, commission and upgrade factory automation equipment for diverse industries. You will create PLC programs tailored to customer needs and participate through all project phases up to buy-off and post-support.

The role requires hands-on PLC expertise, independent customer liaison, and strong troubleshooting and project management skills to deliver on time and within

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in electrical, mechatronics, technology, computer science or equivalent.
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams in automation or system integration.
Knowledge in PLC programming, preferably on Allen Bradley, Omron and Beckhoff.
Ability to work independently with customers on technical specs and requirements.
Manufacturing/process engineering background with strong troubleshooting skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Excellent project management ability.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers and other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues.
Use PC/PLC to develop control signals and measure process variables.
Design and develop PC/PLC software systems using analysis and models.
Direct software programming and documentation development.
Write application software to monitor equipment, ensure conformance to specs, and manage data.
Develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
Modify existing software to fix errors or upgrade interfaces.
Coordinate with engineering staff on hardware/software interfaces and specs.
Provide technical support and instruction regarding software standards and troubleshooting.
Develop detailed design for machines’ HMI/UI.
Write technical reports, manuals, and support documentation.
Provide technical support regarding electrical equipment standards and troubleshooting.
Responsible for other roles as assigned by Supervisor.
