Job summary
Recruit Expert in Singapore seeks an Automation Engineer to support the development and implementation of industrial automation and control systems, including PLC programming and software configuration per project requirements.
Responsibilities include documentation, program development and troubleshooting, plus testing with FAT/SAT and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in controls or automation engineering.
- Practical knowledge of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7/TIA Portal); experience with C# or VB programming.
- Exposure to integrating or interfacing with servo systems, vision systems, load cells or other third-party automation equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to work independently within a project team.
Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of industrial automation and control systems.
- Assist in preparing and updating electrical/control documentation in line with project specs and standards.
- Develop, modify and troubleshoot control programs based on customer requirements.
- Participate in system testing, FAT/SAT and resolve issues with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on controls-related matters and track progress.
