Job summary
Ascendze Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer to develop and commission new industrial automation machines in Singapore. You will design PLC programs, implement motion control, and integrate sensors and robotics, with a focus on commissioning and customer-site support.
The role requires hands-on expertise in PLC platforms such as Inovance, Omron, or Mitsubishi Electric, and a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years hands-on PLC programming experience developing new automation machines/equipment.
- Strong practical knowledge of Motion Control.
- Strong practical knowledge of Industrial Sensor Applications.
- Strong practical experience in Industrial Robotics Applications & Integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC programs for new automation machines.
- Perform I/O checking, machine testing, debugging and commissioning.
- Develop and integrate motion control systems (servo, stepper, positioning, multi-axis).
- Configure and integrate industrial sensors for detection and control.
- Program and integrate industrial robots with PLC/robot communication and safety interlocks.
- Develop and modify HMI programs.
- Read electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Troubleshoot PLC, motion, sensor, robot, and electrical control issues.
- Support customer-site machine installation and commissioning.
- Prepare operation/maintenance documentation and conduct customer training.
