Job summary

Elemynt, an early-stage startup built by Xora Innovation, seeks a senior Platform Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, core platform services, and observability. The role spans from Kubernetes-focused infrastructure to secure, reproducible deployments across environments.

You will design and operate backend services, pipelines, and APIs that power the product, ensuring reliability and scalable performance in diverse customer environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 6+ years building production software.
• Deep hands-on experience building cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code on major cloud platforms.
• Experience designing and operating core backend services and APIs that other engineers depend on.
• Ownership of cloud deployment processes: build, release pipelines, versioned artifacts, and safe rollouts.
• Hands-on experience building observability into production systems (metrics, logs, traces) and debugging incidents.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the cloud infrastructure foundations (networking, IAM, Kubernetes, IaC) for all services.
• Design and build core platform services and internal APIs that are reliably deployed across environments.
• Own end-to-end cloud deployment: pipelines, versioned artifacts, and controlled rollouts with rollback capabilities.
• Stand up observability: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts for quick fault diagnosis.
• Instrument SLOs and health signals to ensure reliability and early regression detection.
• Keep foundations portable and reproducible across environments; ensure consistent deployments.
• Produce deploy-ready blocks (container images, Helm charts, IaC modules) for clean installs and upgrades.
• Harden foundations: secrets, cert management, and network boundaries for security.
