Firmus Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Platform Engineering to join our Engineering and Technology team. You will drive observability capabilities and enhance internal tooling to improve developer and operations productivity.

This role suits a self-starter who builds from first principles and delivers elegant solutions. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, develop monitoring and exportors, and contribute to platform automation and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years as Software Engineer with at least 3 years in Platform/Observability.
• Strong proficiency across modern frameworks, languages and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of AI/ML application-level monitoring from the ground up.
• Develop Prometheus exporters for low-level component and fabric monitoring.
• Build internal tooling and dashboards to automate workflows and boost productivity.
• Improve automated test coverage and adopt new testing frameworks.
• Own net-new product experiments from concept to production deployment.
• Contribute to AI-augmented development tool adoption and workflows.
