Job summary

Vitasoy International Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee daily plant maintenance, ensure minimal downtime, and implement preventive maintenance across all equipment.

You will lead and develop the maintenance team, manage the budget, coordinate with production and QA, and drive safety, reliability, and energy efficiency in a GMP/HACCP environment. This role is based at Senoko South, with a 5-day week, regular hours, AWS, a performance bonus, and

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or industrial environment.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.
• Hands-on experience with production machinery, HVAC, utilities, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH, MOM regulations, risk assessments, and safety management.
• Experience in budget control, spare parts inventory, and contractor/vendor management.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations to minimize downtime.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and utilities.
• Coordinate and respond promptly to breakdowns to avoid disruptions.
• Supervise maintenance activities for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other plant utilities.
• Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team; provide regular feedback.
• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget and procurement of parts.
• Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (WHS, MOM, etc.) and collaborate with QA for food safety.
