Job summary

Achieve Career Consultant Pte Ltd represents a renowned building and construction client in Singapore. They seek a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning function for major infrastructure works, including LTA projects.

You will develop master programmes using Primavera P6, monitor progress, generate reports and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate schedule reporting and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in construction/infrastructure.
• Prior experience on LTA/MRT/rail or major civil projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update master programme and schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish baselines, work breakdown structures, construction sequences, milestones and critical paths per project/LTA requirements.
• Monitor actual progress against the plan and provide planned vs actual analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, progress forecasts and manpower/resource histograms.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction Managers, engineers and subcontractors for progress updates.

Our client, a renowned building & construction firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Senior Planning Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, maintain and update the Master Programme and detailed construction schedules for major LTA infrastructure works using Primavera P6
• Establish baseline programmes, work breakdown structures, construction sequences, key milestones and critical paths in accordance with project and LTA requirements
• Monitor actual site progress against the approved programme and provide regular planned vs actual progress analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, progress forecasts, manpower/resource histograms and other planning reports for management and client submission
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Managers, engineers and subcontractors to obtain progress updates and ensure accurate programme reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience within the construction/infrastructure industry
• Prior experience working on LTA/MRT/rail or major civil infrastructure projects is highly preferred
