BANEN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking Planning Engineers/Senior Planning Engineers to support major MRT and civil infrastructure projects.

You will develop and maintain project programmes, monitor progress, and coordinate with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams to ensure timely delivery. Required are a Civil Engineering degree and MRT/civil project planning experience, with Primavera P6 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant planning experience in MRT and/or Civil construction projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and lifecycle.
• Experience in progress monitoring and delay analysis.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain Master Programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor progress, resources and activities against programme.
• Update programmes to reflect progress, revised activities and time requirements.
• Prepare progress, manpower and equipment reports.
• Coordinate planning with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams.
• Identify delays, assess impact and support delay analysis and mitigation.
• Develop recovery programmes and revised sequences when required.
• Maintain progress records and documentation for delays and claims.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor seeking experienced Planning Engineers / Senior Planning Engineers to support the planning and execution of major Building and Civil projects across Singapore.

The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring construction progress, analysing delays and coordinating with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams to ensure effective project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, update and maintain Master Programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor construction progress, resources and activities against the approved project programme.
• Update programmes to reflect actual progress, revised activities, sequencing, additional works and time requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress, manpower and equipment reports.
• Coordinate planning and progress updates with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams.
• Identify programme delays, assess their impact and support delay analysis and mitigation measures.
• Develop recovery programmes and revised construction sequences where required.
• Maintain progress records and supporting documentation for delays, claims and project reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant planning experience within MRT and/or Civil construction projects would prefer.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and project planning/scheduling.
• Good knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and overall project lifecycle.
• Experience in progress monitoring, delay analysis and recovery programme preparation will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication and reporting skills.
• Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
