Job summary

Banen Associates Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to support master programmes, project planning and controls across major civil infrastructure projects.

You will work with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams to develop and maintain programmes and monitor progress. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Eng or related field, strong planning experience in construction, and proficiency with Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain Master Programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor construction progress, resources and activities against approved project programmes.
• Manage programme updates including revised activities, sequencing, additional works and time requirements.
• Analyse project progress, identify potential delays and assess programme impact.
• Prepare recovery programmes and revised construction sequences where required.
• Coordinate planning and progress requirements with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams.
• Prepare progress reports, manpower/resource forecasts and programme updates.
• Maintain programme records and supporting documentation for delays, EOT and contractual claims.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support project planning, programme management and project controls across major Civil Infrastructure developments in Singapore.

The position will work closely with Construction, Engineering and Contracts teams to develop and maintain project programmes, monitor construction progress, identify delays and support effective project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, update and maintain Master Programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor construction progress, resources and activities against approved project programmes.

• Analyse project progress, identify potential delays and assess programme impact.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Strong project planning experience within the construction industry.
• Planning experience on Civil / Infrastructure projects is essential.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and construction scheduling.
• Good knowledge of civil construction methodology, sequencing and project lifecycle.
• Experience in progress monitoring, delay analysis and recovery programme preparation.
• Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
