Job summary

Gammon Construction Limited is seeking a site-based Project Scheduler to develop and maintain construction schedules in collaboration with the project team. You will coordinate inputs from contractors and suppliers, prepare baseline schedules with resources, and monitor progress against the master program.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in large-scale building projects, proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board (PEB) Singapore or BCA.
• Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in projects valued at more than $100 million with hands-on planning and scheduling for building projects with external works.
• Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in LTA programme preparation, programme requirements and submissions will be an added advantage.
• Candidate with 4D BIM knowledge will have an added advantage.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programmes, narratives and histograms.
• Meticulous, eye for detail and a good team player.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• This is a site-based position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project team.
• Coordinate inputs from project team, contractors and suppliers to support development of project programmes.
• Prepare baseline schedule including resources, cost loadings, S-curves, Programme Narratives, and scope presentation.
• Work on progress forecasts and prepare rolling programmes.
• Prepare weekly & monthly reports to update, track and report project progress against planned schedule.
• Prepare & develop micro-programmes for specific trades for site planning & coordination.
• Monitor and control progress to ensure turnover and cost align with master construction program.
• Monitor timely submission of drawings & materials with approvals.
• Monitor project orders and deliveries are in accordance with agreed schedules.
• Carry out interfacing and coordination works aligning to baseline schedule with discipline in charge.
• Prepare & develop claimable EOT as per contractual clauses with commercial team with potential new catch-up programmes.
