Job summary

KBR, Inc in Singapore is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process engineering and design for offshore oil and gas projects. You will perform simulations, develop P&IDs, heat and material balances, and participate in FEED and detailed design activities.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree, 12+ years' experience, leadership in hydrocarbon projects, and familiarity with international codes and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering design experience.
Experience with Offshore FPSO, Oil and Gas, LNG terminal projects.
Energy transition project experience is advantageous.
Leadership experience in managing process teams for hydrocarbon projects.
Understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Conduct process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies.
Perform process simulations, prepare PFDs, heat and material balance, and utility balances.
Create P&IDs and datasheets for process equipment and instruments.
Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements.
Collaborate on FEED and detailed design projects.
