ST Engineering Marine Ltd in Singapore seeks a Welding Engineer to draft and qualify welding procedures, design welding processes for various metals, and ensure compliance with international standards. The role includes coordinating NDT methods and investigating weld failures, with emphasis on CAPA and safety.

A degree in Mechanical or Marine engineering and 4–5 years of marine experience are required, along with CWEng or CWI certification.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical or Marine engineering.
• 4–5 years work experience in Marine industry or refinery piping works.
• AWS CWEng or CW I certification.
• Knowledge of Classification requirements and shipbuilding standards.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and qualify WPS, PQR, and WPQR.
• Design welding processes for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys.
• Enforce compliance with ASME, AWS, ISO, and API.
• Coordinate NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT) and investigate weld failures.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and participate in safety activities.
