Kong Jun Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Piping Inspector to perform visual inspection and monitor welding procedures on vessels and structures at project sites in Singapore.

You will ensure welding is performed per approved WPS, prepare inspection reports, and review documents for client submission; you will report to the QA lead/manager.

The role requires AWS or TWI-CSWIP 3.1 certification, ability to work shifts, and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Inspector shall be certified/Registered by an independent third-party association (AWS/TWI-CSWIP 3.1) as a certified welding inspector.
• Physically fit to work onboard vessels or in confined spaces.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual inspection / monitoring of welding and materials for structures.
• Daily monitoring to ensure welding is done according to the approved WPS.
• Welding inspector(s) shall prepare inspection reports and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Inspect documents & traceability and submit to Client.
• Report to project QA lead/manager.
