Job summary

NHG Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Senior Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient and ED operations. You will assist pharmacists with medication orders, packing, labeling and distribution to wards and departments.

Responsibilities include stock management, billing support, and ensuring Good Dispensing Practice; you will train new staff and help maintain clean work areas, coordinating with the formulation/compounding processes and UDP operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Advanced Certificate Course in Pharmacy Support or foreign pharmacy degree (non-registrable with SPC) and undergoing structured in-house training & OJT in preparation for in-house competency assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in processing medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing.
• Perform billing functions and handle subsidy enquiries.
• Dispense medicines under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain inventory stock levels of drugs in the work areas.
• Assist in receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries against documents.

Education

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science

Advanced Certificate Course in Pharmacy Support (Pharmacy Technician)

Foreign Pharmacy Degree (non-registrable with SPC)
