Job summary

Woodlands Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with processing medication orders for both inpatient and outpatient dispensing. You will dispense medicines under supervision, manage inventory, and support billing and subsidy inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

The role involves stock handling, quality checks, and helping the Unit Dose Packaging workflow, including assisting in training new staff and coordinating with the compounding lab to confirm

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate programs relevant to pharmacy support and technician roles.
• Structured in-house training and on‑the‑job training in preparation for competency assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing.
• Dispense medicines under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Perform stock receipt and issues/transfer in inventory systems; monitor stock levels and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in billing functions and handling subsidy enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas; assist on UDP operations and automation-related tasks.

Education

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science

Advanced Certificate Course in Pharmacy Support (Pharmacy Technician)

Foreign Pharmacy Degree (non-registrable with SPC) AND undergoing structured in-house training & OJT in preparation for in-house competency assessment
