Job summary

CELANESE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced instrumentation professional to maintain process and portable analyzers essential for safety, environmental monitoring and product quality.

You will calibrate equipment, perform hardware replacements, and continuously improve sample systems while ensuring ISO-compliant documentation. The role requires a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent, with on‑the‑job training in electrical, electronics, chemistry and test equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of petrochemical plant experience in process analyzer maintenance.
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with on-the-job training in Basic electrical, electronics, chemistry, test equipment usage.
• Ability to work effectively in team and communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• Be aware of conditions that affect employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, modify and maintain process analyzers and portable analyzers used for safety, shutdown control, personnel monitoring, environmental monitoring, product quality and unit efficiency.
• Calibrate process analyzers, perform hardware replacement and manage calibration standards.
• Improve sample systems by optimizing circuitry, cooling/heating, filtering or gas/liquid separation.
• Repair critical equipment on emergency basis, and provide coverage during start-up, holidays, weekends and call-outs.
• Maintain documentation including loop files, schematics, logs and calibration/inspection records to ISO standards.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and manage spare parts stock.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication to develop others and advance safety/environment goals.
