Celanese Singapore seeks an experienced Instrumentation professional to maintain process analyzers and portable devices critical to safety, quality and unit efficiency. You will perform calibration, hardware replacements and spare parts support while improving sample systems and documenting records in line with ISO standards.

Jointly with the team, you will ensure reliable operation, provide emergency coverage, and uphold safety and environmental protection throughout all maintenance activities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of petrochemical plant experience in process analyzer maintenance.
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with on-the-job training in basic electrical/electronics/chemistry/test equipment usage.
• Ability to work effectively with teams and contribute to organizational goals.

Responsibilities 职责

• Responsible for the installation, repair, modifications and preventive maintenance of process analyzers and portable analyzers that are used for safety and shutdown control, personnel monitoring, environmental monitoring, product quality and unit efficiency.


• Perform preventative maintenance such as calibration of process analyzers, hardware replacement and spare parts support and keeping gas and liquid calibration standards current.


• Improve existing sample systems including optimizing electronic circuitry, cooling, heating, filtering or gas/liquid separation.


• Repair critical equipment on emergency basis, start-up coverage, inclement weather coverage, holiday, weekend and call out coverage and troubleshooting special causes.


• Documentation (written and PC based record keeping) including: loop files which contain electrical and electronic schematics, sample drawings, maintenance logs and calibration and inspection records to comply with ISO standards.


• Contact equipment and analyzer vendors to resolve operational problems, implement additions and deletions to the warehouse stock of spare parts.


• Demonstrate behavior that advances team-based work concepts by utilizing good communication techniques with all employees and to develop others in the team

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Required Exprience: Minimum 5 years of petrochemical plant experience in process analyzer maintenance.


• Required Education: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. with on the job training in Basic electrical, electronics, chemistry, test equipment usage.

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Maintenance and repair of microprocessor-based gas chromatographs (TCD and FID) and continuous process analyzers, including but not limited to infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV), fiber-optic transmission systems, NIR, chemiluminescence, radioactive absorption, and oxygen analyzers (paramagnetic, zirconia, and electrochemical).


• Maintenance and repair of portable and personal gas monitors.


• Maintenance of support equipment such as vacuum pumps, digital indicators, pressure regulators, electronic flow sensors, and associated equipment.


• Mechanical skills and proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools for repair and fabrication activities.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.


• Documentation improvement skills.
