Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of petrochemical plant experience in process analyzer maintenance.
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering; on-the-job electrical/electronic training.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret electrical/electronic schematics and logs.
• Commitment to ISO documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, modify and perform preventive maintenance of process analyzers and portable analyzers used for safety, shutdown control, personnel monitoring, environmental monitoring, product quality and unit efficiency.
• Perform calibration of process analyzers, hardware replacement and spare parts support and keeping gas and liquid calibration standards current.
• Improve existing sample systems including optimizing electronic circuitry, cooling, heating, filtering or gas/liquid separation.
• Repair critical equipment on emergency basis, start-up coverage, inclement weather coverage, holiday, weekend and call out coverage.
• Documentation (written and PC based record keeping) including loop files with schematics, sample drawings, maintenance logs and calibration/inspection records to comply with ISO standards.
• Contact equipment and analyzer vendors to resolve operational problems, implement additions/deletions to spare parts warehouse stock.
