Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Perception Engineer to build and ship perception stacks that convert raw sensor data into real-time world understanding. You will own foundational work on sensor integrity, calibration, and validation workflows to ensure geometric and temporal accuracy, then broaden into wider perception development.

You will report to a senior engineer and work onsite at Grab's office in Singapore, contributing to robust perception across detection, tracking, and multi-sensor fusion

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping or operating perception systems in robotics/AV/ADAS.
• Solid geometry and multi-sensor calibration skills (intrinsic/extrinsic).
• Proficient in C++ and Python for production-quality code and lightweight tooling.
• Experience debugging in noisy, production-like environments with log-driven analysis.
• Strong engineering discipline with reproducible workflows and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Ship and improve perception capabilities across detection, tracking, and multi-sensor integration.
• Own perception foundations: sensor integrity and calibration for multi-sensor suite.
• Develop diagnostics and automated checks to catch timing or geometric issues early.
• Collaborate with Integration/Data/Infra teams to ensure production-like reliability and latency analysis.
