Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Perception & Prediction Engineer in Singapore to build and deploy robust perception and prediction systems for robotic delivery.

You will own multi-sensor data processing, tracking, and temporal forecasting within a modular perception stack and open-world reasoning. You will work across detection, prediction, planning, data & Infra, and integrations to ship production-ready solutions with real-time performance and safety guarantees.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years hands-on experience shipping or operating perception/prediction systems for robotics, AV or ADAS.
• Rich experience across classical/geometric and learning-based approaches with interpretable safety fallbacks.
• Proven depth in multi-object tracking with data association and low-latency evaluation.
• Hands-on depth in at least one modern temporal area: motion forecasting, occupancy flow, streaming BEV, world models.
• Fundamentals in geometry and multi-sensor systems, calibration and time-synchronisation.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for production-quality code.
• Experience navigating production-like environments with metrics and root-cause analysis.
• Self-motivated with genuine enthusiasm for autonomous robotics and embodied AI.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate engineering while preserving quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship multi-object tracking with data association and state estimation.
• Build generic/open-set perception with obstacle detection and occupancy representations.
• Develop motion prediction for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
• Advance end-to-end temporal perception-prediction approaches while maintaining modular baselines.
• Explore VLM/VLA and embodied foundation models for open-vocabulary perception.
• Strengthen multi-sensor and temporal integration across camera, LiDAR, radar and IMU.
• Define quality gates for tracking, prediction and safety with measurable metrics.
• Collaborate to move research into reproducible training, simulation and deployment.
