Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Pega Developer at Associate/Senior Associate level with 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience across Pega platforms. You will contribute to enhancements and new build initiatives, working in an Agile/Scrum delivery setup to drive robust, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes Pega Case Management, UX design, data integration, and reporting, with collaboration across analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders to ensure high performance and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Pega PRPC / Pega Platform 7.x/8.x experience required.
• CSA mandatory; CSSA preferred.
• 3–7 years of hands-on Pega development.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Pega-based solutions for enhancements and/or new service requests.
• Provide expertise in Pega frameworks, ensuring robust, scalable architecture.
• Utilize Pega Case Management to design and automate workflows.
• Design intuitive user interfaces using Pega UX principles.
• Integrate Pega applications with data sources and systems (REST/SOA).
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders to define integration strategies.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing and debugging.
• Provide technical support and root-cause analysis for Pega applications.
• Develop and maintain Pega reports and dashboards for insights.
• Document development processes and designs for audit and compliance.
• Stay current with Pega releases and best practices; suggest improvements.
• Contribute to sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers on Pega best practices.
• Demonstrate expertise in Pega Case Management and UX.
• Leverage Platform capabilities to build scalable enterprise apps.
