Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Pega Developer in Singapore to support development, enhancement and production support of Pega applications. You will develop, test and deploy Pega solutions, address incidents and perform root cause analysis across Case Management, Data Pages and UI components.

The role requires CSA certification, 3+ years Pega experience, and strong collaboration with analysts and architects.

Qualifications

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to support the development, enhancement and production support of Pega applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, test and deploy Pega applications, including case management, workflows, data pages, decision rules, UI components and integrations.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, application defects and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot integrations involving REST APIs, web services, messaging and enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical impact analysis for defects, incidents, enhancements and change requests.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment and post-implementation verification.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails, security requirements and coding standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, infrastructure teams and external vendors.
• Prepare technical and operational documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers and support teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability and operational processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Pega application development, implementation and application support experience.
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Platform, including Case Management, Flows, Data Pages, Activities, Decision Rules, UI, Integrations, Reports, Correspondence, Queue Processors, Job Schedulers and security configuration.
• Experience supporting production systems, including incident investigation, defect resolution, root cause analysis, impact analysis and enhancement delivery.
• Experience troubleshooting REST APIs, web services, messaging and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of Pega troubleshooting tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, Performance Analyzer (PAL) and log analysis.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Added Advantage:

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
• Experience with Pega Cloud SaaS or Pega Cloud migration projects.
• Exposure to Pega Infinity '25 features and capabilities.

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 2 years
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (Work performed outside stated working hours may be compensated with OIL and transport reimbursement, subject to approval.)
