Job summary

Recruitment Hub Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Pega Developer to join a government project in Singapore. The role requires strong Pega Platform expertise, CSA certification, and 3+ years of hands-on experience. Expect BAU support, RCA, and collaboration with vendors to deliver robust solutions.

You will work Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM, on a 2-year contract, with a 2-month notice period and a completion bonus. Medical leave benefits, annual leave, and other incentives are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Pega development, implementation and support.
• Pega CSA certification is required; CSSA is an advantage.
• Strong hands-on Pega Platform experience: Case Management, Data Pages, UI, Integrations, Rules.
• Experience with production issue investigation, RCA, and defect resolution.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents to meet SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex production issues.
• Troubleshoot integration issues with APIs, web services, and partner systems.
• Conduct technical impact analyses for defects, incidents, and changes.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy defect fixes and enhancements.
• Develop and enhance Pega components: case types, data pages, rules, UI, integrations.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, infra, and vendors on solutions.
• Support integration with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party apps.
• Perform code reviews ensuring adherence to Pega guardrails and security.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation verification.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment instructions.
• Provide guidance to junior developers and support teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and processes.
• Stay current with Pega features and best practices.

Job Scope & Requirement

1. Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents, application defects, and performance issues to ensure system availability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
2. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production issues and recommend sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving internal applications, external partner systems, APIs, web services, and batch interfaces.
4. Conduct technical impact analysis for defects, production incidents, system enhancements, and change requests to identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
5. Design, develop, test, and deploy defect fixes, system enhancements, and change requests in accordance with business requirements and project timelines.
6. Develop and enhance Pega application components, including case types, workflows, data pages, decision rules, integrations, UI components, and business rules following Pega best practices.
7. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to define technical solutions and resolve cross-functional issues.
8. Support application integration with enterprise systems, databases, web services, and third-party applications while ensuring data integrity and security.
9. Perform code reviews and ensure solutions comply with Pega guardrails, coding standards, security requirements, and application architecture.
10. Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation verification activities.
11. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment instructions, and operational support documentation.
12. Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior developers and support team members.
13. Identify opportunities to improve application performance, maintainability, and operational processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
14. Stay current with Pega platform capabilities and recommend adoption of new features and best practices where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. (Ideal Academic Qualification)
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, implementation, and application support.
3. Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification is required. Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is an advantage.
4. Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform, including Case Management, Flows, Data Pages, Activities, Decision Rules, UI, Integrations, Reports, Correspondence, Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, and security configuration.
5. Proven experience supporting production systems, including production issue investigation, defect resolution, root cause analysis, impact analysis, and enhancement delivery.
6. Experience troubleshooting integration issues involving REST APIs, web services, messaging, and enterprise system integrations.
7. Experience performing technical impact assessments and supporting end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and change requests.
8. Strong knowledge of Pega diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, including Clipboard, Tracer, Live UI, Alerts, Performance Analyzer (PAL), and log analysis.
9. Experience with Pega Cloud SaaS platform is preferred. Hands-on experience supporting or participating in Pega Cloud migration projects will be an added advantage.
10. Exposure to Pega Infinity '25 features and capabilities will be an added advantage.
11. Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
12. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technical, and vendor teams.
14. Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced operational environment.
